Catnip toys sell items like time-extending food, cat outfit items, and amulets, right? This is just my personal theory, but once you start accumulating catnip toys, I might recommend purchasing food or magic keys. They'll pick up souvenirs for you, and some of these souvenirs come with an 'aura' that increases the coin discovery rate and possibly speeds up the growth of your catnip toy. (The experience points are probably 'Essence of Bottle'...?). So, you might want to adjust the time with food, send them on an 'otherworld journey' where destinations are less likely to overlap, and increase the variety of souvenirs to enhance effects like the coin discovery rate. I'm not sure how effective this is, so please take it as a casual reference.

Looks like they went to the cave town and even brought back a cute souvenir called 'Bat Cookies' and some coins!

I tend to miss consecutive check-ins... The longest streak I've managed is 4 days...〣( ๐ _ ๐)　GAHN. I struggle to save up catnip toys, so I end up blowing it all on rice balls... Matatabi is expensive and has the same effect, so it's banned in my house❌🙀 (Sorry kitty…). I'm slowly, slowly collecting coins💰 I keep playing because it's cute... I'll collect them slowly and leisurely🐌🐢
