I went to see a movie after work. It was an anime, and it was a late-night screening. I thought the entrance was crowded because of something, but then I saw a few groups of people arguing because minors couldn't enter this late screening without a guardian. They were checking the birth dates of people who looked underage. Wow, surprised me. They didn't check me at all, though, which is understandable given how I look, right? Among those leaving to get refunds, I heard one person say to their companion, 'They should have told us from the start...' But I bet it was mentioned somewhere in writing or something. At least the online purchase site has a notice about 'age restrictions,' and I rarely buy tickets at the theater, so I don't know for sure, but it's unlikely they wouldn't mention it, right? It's a ticket machine, not a person selling it, so there's probably even more information written. Maybe they were disappointed, but is it cold of me to think it was their own fault for not checking? Well, if you can buy it, you buy it, right? That's probably why so many people were asking for refunds. It doesn't concern me, and I had fun, so no problem.

Hanshin Tigers win the championship🎉 A somewhat anticlimactic championship! But a win is a win＼(^o^)／ Yesterday, with the Hanshin magic number at 1, they were supposed to win against Hiroshima and have Manager Kyuji lifted into the air at Masuda Stadium... but they lost unexpectedly💢 I thought they'd clinch the championship the next day, but then, surprisingly, the second-place Yomiuri Giants lost to the Yokohama DeNA BayStars, and at that moment, Hanshin became champions🎉 It feels a bit anticlimactic! But then again, this championship was made possible because Hanshin held onto the lead all this time! Even if it was thanks to other teams losing, a championship is a championship! Also, achieving consecutive championships is amazing🎉 Hanshin has won before, but never two years in a row! It's just the best. But if I could be greedy, I wish I could have seen Manager Kyuji's celebratory toss at Masuda Stadium... After winning the league championship, the next step is to win the Climax Series and advance to the Japan Series. We narrowly lost last year, so this year we're aiming for the Japan Series title! But for now, I just want to bask in the glory of this championship. Thank you, everyone.

I went to Manekineko. I wonder why I never realized how cheap the morning room rates were. I mostly sing anime songs. I sometimes listen to them for reference, as the vocals by anime song singers are helpful.

It was my grandmother's first anniversary, so after visiting her grave, we went to a restaurant that my family has patronized for generations. Their carp dishes are especially exquisite, and my family always makes a reservation there 😊 It was a whole carp simmered, and it was incredibly delicious 😋 They apparently raise ayu (sweetfish) and carp in the restaurant's pond! We also had salted ayu with roe, and it was mostly roe and looked really impressive! There were also various other dishes like sashimi and meat, and everything was delicious and I was stuffed! We could take home the leftovers, so we can enjoy them at home too! The staff were friendly and it was the best ✨ We talked as a family about ordering a carp dish for New Year's or something, since they apparently make them if you ask! We want to keep using this place!

The day has finally come. Hanshin Magic 1! If we win against Hiroshima today, we win the league 🎉 Achieving Hanshin's first ever 'Aranpa' (Central League pennant)! I've been so nervous and had stomach aches since yesterday... Please, Hanshin! I'll be cheering my heart out in front of the TV again today. I hope to see Manager Kuji's celebratory toss today at Mazda Stadium...

Yesterday's final showdown against the Yomiuri Giants ended in a grueling 12-inning tie at 2-2… This brought our magic number down from 3 to 2. It was a tough game, lasting over 5 hours… Huge thanks to the fans who stayed until the end and cheered, and especially to the players for their hard work… Watching on TV was intense for me too! 💦 And today, Hanshin has a day off, while the Giants play the Swallows… And since the Swallows beat the Giants!! Hanshin's magic number is 1! 🎉 Tomorrow we play Hiroshima in a day game! If we win, we're champions! Manager Kuji will be tossed in the air at Mazda Stadium, the opponent's home ground… After going from Magic 14 to an unexpected 7-game losing streak! There were times when the Giants took back the lead, but we managed to get to Magic 1!! My stomach hurts! I'm too nervous to sleep! I hope Hanshin can achieve their first 'all-home-game victory' tomorrow… I'm going to sleep praying 💤 Sorry for the long post! 💦 Thanks to everyone who always listened to my Hanshin rants..

On my way home, I was walking absentmindedly and saw a shadow at my feet...? When I looked, it was a cat. I wondered where you came from, and kept walking while staring at it. For a moment, we walked side-by-side, and I thought it would just pass by, but it stopped and stared intently at me. So, when I stared back, it meowed. Thinking how cute it was, I took a picture 📸 Maybe because I kept a little distance, thinking it might be too close, the focus landed on the sidewalk. lol It was a small, healing encounter on my way home 🤭

Today, we had to move classrooms and move equipment for the school festival preparations. But the start time for that overlapped with carrying equipment for the light music club, so I went to the club instead. I figured someone would help carry the stuff. But nope, nobody helped me. I can kind of understand leaving my guitar at the back, but even my backpack, which was clearly placed on the desk. I guess it's my fault for overestimating people's goodwill and not directly asking for help. Another class (let's call them Class B) was already in the original classroom, and I thought maybe my stuff was just buried under other items and I couldn't see it. That wasn't the case. I asked our homeroom teacher, who was nearby, and they said, "The Class B teacher brought over someone's luggage that was left behind." Since I had to coordinate things, I prioritized my guitar and asked the Class B students if my guitar was behind them. Apparently, it was, and they brought it over. Thank you. After that, I looked for my backpack again. It wasn't there. I asked the Class B teacher if I could go into their classroom and look for it. They gave me permission, and I found it right away. It was still on the desk. While I know it's my fault for not asking, I felt a sense of emptiness, or sadness, or just a general negative emotion.
