You might already know this, but I've been seeing this type of ad frequently lately, so I thought I'd share... As you can see in the image, there are ads where only the bottom half opens the store after watching a video. However, you can actually close this ad by tapping the black area at the top, even without pressing the ❌️ button. Well, it's not a huge game-changer, but I feel like repeatedly tapping around where the close button usually appears might make it slightly easier to deal with 🤭 Also, it's a tiny bit better than the types where the ❌️ is hard to press... just a tiny bit though 😅

I think it's more accurate to say it's my fault rather than the ads being bad 😅 I probably fall asleep during commercials and end up touching my phone, because sometimes apps I don't remember installing get installed. I'm not entirely sure since the prices have dropped, but they're all apps I've seen in ads, and there doesn't seem to be any other possibility. Fortunately, they're all harmless games or similar, but I'm scared that a malicious app might get installed. Well, I'll just uninstall any such apps without even launching them, but there's still a non-zero chance they could launch while I'm asleep 😅

Even when the skip button appeared, I couldn't press it and it sent me to the app... Normally, pressing it once prevents this, but today it didn't work no matter how many times I tried...

Those Charicasu apps like BTM and WT are really persistent...

It feels like they've started showing ads in sets of three, and the first one is quite long. This kind of ad format seems to have appeared recently, and I find it pretty rough. Speaking of rough, I sometimes get those free cash ads that are about a minute long and require you to watch them three times before skipping. I really wish they'd stop those ( '꒳' )

When I play games for points, I usually play music in the background, and it works pretty well for games with lots of ads. It probably depends on your phone settings, but ads that can be muted seem to get muted automatically. However, be aware that music might get interrupted by ads without a mute function or certain types of ads. This can be pretty annoying too. ↓ It's kind of like this: 1: Mute the game itself 2: Play music on Spotify 3: Play the game while listening to music 4: Ads pop up in the game 5: Depending on the ad type, the music either continues playing or gets interrupted. I'm not entirely sure if setting 1 affects step 5, but I feel like sometimes ads get muted if the game itself is muted... Honestly, I'm not confident about this. It might just be because I frequently mute ads. If anyone's knowledgeable or interested, please test this out! Besides Spotify, other apps that allow background music playback include Amazon Music and LINE MUSIC. If the ads you dislike are the type that can be muted, this might make the experience a bit better. It's recommended, though individual experiences may vary.

I was living a life of constantly reporting unpleasant things, when suddenly KURE 556 commercials started playing 🙂 Even the web CMs are decent! Zero unpleasantness! And they're appropriately short! I don't mind them playing repeatedly. This is it, this is what I'm talking about! I thought 🥰

There are occasional CMs (commercials/ads) that link to Google Play etc. and use Photon Browser instead of the default Chrome browser. With this browser, it always creates a new tab and leaves it open without deleting it, and for some reason, it also shows an SSL error dialog, which is subtly annoying. I wonder how they build these?

I hadn't seen it for 2-3 days so I felt relieved, but it showed up again...

Speaking of the Lite version of that major short video platform. I didn't really need the synopsis, just glanced at it, but it seems to be the kind of story where you infiltrate, encounter unpleasant people, and then get revenge at the end. They advertise it as 'Watch unlimited once you register!', but I laughed thinking, 'Is this a prison sentence?' I guess whether it's pleasant or unpleasant is subjective, but maybe it's the ultimate form of video content that's packed with elements designed to stimulate the brain.
