It's cold

Anyone who swims (especially those who compete) will definitely know this song Taste the satisfaction

The other day, Noah Ohashi achieved an incredible feat at the Asian Games, setting new high school, Japanese, Asian, and World records simultaneously in the 200m breaststroke at just 17 years old with a time of 2:04.83... It's insane that high school swimmers now have to break the world record just to set a new high school record for the 200m breaststroke anymore (--;)

Speaking of which, I posted in the community a while back about the OWS tournament. I'm happy to share that I got 2nd place in the 'by age group' category for the teens (though there were only 2 of us lol), 3rd place overall for males (out of 89 people), and 3rd place overall for males and females (out of over a hundred people)! Medals were awarded based on the age group rankings (1st, 2nd, 3rd), so I received a silver medal for 2nd place. The quality and weight felt substantial, possibly even more so than the medals I usually get from swimming competitions! Next year, I'm planning to compete in an official tournament. If there are medals there too, I'll work hard to win one!! My dream is to compete in the Japan Championships!!!!

I'm participating in OWS (Open Water Swimming) today, and OWS is like, you know triathlon? It's like a swimming-only version of that, and I'm competing in the 1500m event! ★ Plus, there are probably very few participants in the teens (maybe just me), and the top 3 get medals, so I'll do my best to win one! Today's event isn't an officially sanctioned competition, but I'll treat it as experience for when I compete in an official one someday and aim for a medal!
