I haven't been able to read much lately due to school events, but today I finally got to read for a long time after a while! After reading properly, I realized again how great books are.

I bought a book called 'Manimani' by Kanako Nishi at the used bookstore BOOKOFF. It's an essay collection, not a novel. Although it's an old book, published over ten years ago, Kanako Nishi's essay collections are easy to read because they don't feel too different from her novels. Even though I say they're easy to read, since Nishi has traveled to many countries, I can't understand everything when she talks about foreign places. However, I think the charm of Kanako Nishi is that she makes you enjoy reading it somehow.

Finished reading 'Sasayuki'~! I really love this book no matter how many times I read it. It's also great how each of the four sisters has her own way of life ✨️

I recently came across a work called 'Cocoa on Thursdays' in a Biblio Battle and would love to read it. If anyone has already read it, I'd be happy to hear your thoughts.

Abigail (Abby-chan) is so cute! 💖 The heroine, Abby-chan, is shunned for her golden eyes, rumored to have taken after her older sister's misdeeds, and rejected by her husband on their wedding night... but... Abby-chan, who was a bit of an unusual Demon Lord in her past life ♪ ["Resentment? What's that, is it tasty?"] ["People who give me delicious things are good people!"] ["Can I eat this? Is it okay to eat? (Excited)"] etc. The whole family of her new in-laws find themselves wanting to protect her MAX~ It occasionally borders on heavy topics, but since she herself doesn't dwell on them, it mostly turns into a heartwarming rom-com. This is important, so I'll say it again: Abby-chan is cute! 🌟
