I've been playing Fallout 76 recently. I played Fallout 76 before when the PS4 version came out, but that was about 6 or 7 years ago. I knew about the human NPCs coming a few years ago and the stuff about ghouls, but I hadn't played. So, I played again after a long time, and it's become quite fun. It's pretty fun even solo. I don't really get to enjoy multiplayer because I don't have friends who play Fallout, though. But the bugs and minor annoyances felt very 'Bethesda game'-like.

I opened a 4-pack of used PS3 games I bought and pulled Gran Turismo 5, so I'm laughing. Am I well-liked or something? By the way, the others were: Resident Evil Naruto Winning Eleven Well, maybe challenging games I'm not interested in is also an option...?

Talking about the PS2 again. The disc spins fine, and there are no weird noises or anything... Please don't suggest replacing the laser assembly... seriously. It seems like there aren't any retro game repair shops around here, so I'm assuming I'll have to do it myself... It's still weird that GT4, NFSU2, and PS1 games load up normally.

It's not reading discs properly... I can hear it spinning and I've cleaned the lens... I guess the only option left is to take it apart. What's weird though is that it can read PS1 discs, GT4, and Need for Speed Underground 2. It's really strange that other PS2 software won't work. And it also has performance issues, so I really want to fix it. It's lagging in Ridge Racer Revolution, R4, Gran Turismo 2, and Touge MAX. Gran Turismo 2 has slight lag in the midfield. It's particularly bothersome that the lag only happens in the midfield. It's even stranger that it doesn't bother me as much with other PS2 games. What's up with my PS2?

Only the first-gen early model PS is missing. I pre-ordered it on release day and picked it up at Mokibakan on my way home from work. Back then, there weren't game shops like there are now, they were toy stores. Instead of taking the package to the register, you'd tell the clerk the title name and they'd get it for you... Buying titles I was a bit hesitant to say was a high hurdle lol I had to say, "Please give me Puzzle de Puyo Puyo in video form." PS console and Ridge Racer. I was hanging out at Namco's direct-managed Carrot House, obsessed with Ridge Racer. When I heard I could play it at home, I had no choice but to buy it. However, unlike the arcade version... counter-steering in corners was difficult. The DX cabinet had an H-pattern shift with a clutch. Overheating and countermeasures. Articles came out saying it would overheat or get major scratches on the disc. Since there were no cooling fans, only a heatsink, it was said to happen easily if placed in poorly ventilated areas like TV stands. I looked for a 9V from the power board... 5V was for RF, 12V was probably for the drive? I made it a forced air-cooled spec using two small fans and a Tamiya craft switch. The disc scratches, I think, were probably due to some disc holding defect. It was said that placing it vertically could avoid this... character limit

I think I understand why the previous owner sold it. Hey, stop it. What could be the cause of this happening...?

I was totally hooked. Even though it was supposed to be free-to-play, I spent money (don't want to remember the amount). Because of that, I stopped playing other games. My default look was 'Kuro's' headwear, a ninja costume, and a drum on my back. It was a great system where talking to strangers online would lead to making new internet friends. What I remember most is casually chatting with someone who turned out to be a survivor of the Great East Japan Earthquake. When I joined a club, I found out it was a kid from my neighborhood, which led to a small offline meetup. By neighborhood, I mean within about 100km (anything within 100km felt like the neighborhood). We've drifted apart, but it was fun lending and borrowing games. I traded 'Operation: Racoon City' to get 'Ar tonelico 3'. If only I had only known about the Japanese version, how happy I would have been... I learned about the volume difference with the overseas version from an info site. Since I had 2 PS3s, I jumped into the North American version (the beginning of the end). If the Japanese version was exploitation, the North American version was a treasure trove of giveaways, like 'take it, thief!' I spent even more than on the Japanese version (don't know the amount). My default look became the Anubis head and wings on my back. Compared to the overseas version's treasure trove of transforming robots and non-human avatars, the Japanese version was... It was added later, but it was just a downgrade from the overseas version (no gimmicks for the price). Yeah, word count.

The early model PS that miraculously avoided overheating. Or rather, I took out 12V and added PC fans. BB unit blew off from a lightning strike, and the VHS was also broken, so I impulsively bought the PSX (the shiny one). My second PS3's disc became unusable? so I bought a third one and ran the domestic and North American versions of PShome simultaneously. Suffered from the initial PS4's electrostatic switch runaway, so I bought the slim Pro. Even though 500G was cheap on sale, I deliberately bought the 1T version and added an external 4THDD. Only the initial PS... is gone somewhere. I don't know if the others work, but they still exist.

I managed to get my hands on a memory card with a ridiculously huge capacity! It's called a Memory Card Plus, but there's no info about it online! If anyone knows anything, please comment... The memory card on the left and the one in the middle are already mine. It was an impulse buy. I'd never even seen a case for memory cards before, and this one has a sticker of the familiar 'Ken-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!(´ﾟдﾟ｀)' that internet folks know well. What's a shame is that even though it has a Rurouni Kenshin sticker, there's no save data for the Rurouni Kenshin game on it. I'll buy the disc someday... Also, I was surprised to learn for the first time that there's a Dreamcast version of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future. I thought it only existed for PS and Arcade...

Got it from the closing PS Store! I barely play action games, so it's pretty difficult... Feels like it's gonna end up as a backlog game. Btw, I bought another one. It's DAYTONA USA (This one's an arcade game, so I guess I can play it bit by bit...)
