Do you know Kowloon's Gate?

There's a PlayStation game released in 1997 called 'Kowloon's Gate,' with a somewhat mysterious worldview. Its spin-off game, 'Kowloon's Gate: Suzaku,' was previously released as a PS4 VR software, and starting this month, it will also be available on the Nintendo Switch! It's said to be a digital release. While it doesn't support VR, you can once again enjoy the surreal 'Yin Realm' battles where you fight with peeled shrimp, which might be familiar to those who know the game. Just being able to go to the Yin Realm should excite all you former Feng Shui masters. Before its digital release, I was able to get a physical game copy through crowdfunding. I participated as well. It's a game I love, so I'm looking forward to playing it! For me, 'Kowloon's Gate' was a game that gently encouraged me when I was a student and wasn't good at interacting with people. It's often talked about as a mysterious game (and it truly has a unique atmosphere), but I feel it became an entry point for learning about interpersonal distance.

DEEMO

Apologies for not greeting you properly after joining. I tend to play games at my own pace, but I'd appreciate your support! ┏○)) ペコリ As a greeting… I know it's originally a smartphone game, but it's the game that made me want a Switch, so I'd like to introduce DEEMO! 🎶 It's a fantasy-themed rhythm game centered around piano music, and what sets it apart from other rhythm games is its solid storyline. However, the main story unfolds through cutscenes without dialogue, like a beautiful, fantastical picture book… and the story is truly breathtaking…! 🥹 There's also a bit of a point-and-click adventure element where you explore the castle, but through this exploration, the music itself, the song's illustrations, and certain locations you can visit after clearing, you can feel the story and emotions in every aspect, making me cry multiple times 😭 Furthermore, the rhythm game section boasts over 400 songs, with three difficulty levels (four for some songs), and the Switch version allows you to connect to a TV for an immersive audio experience or play in handheld mode with tap controls! 🎶 Sorry for the long text m(_ _)m

ANUBIS ZONE OF THE ENDERS

I've never actually played the game, but the BGM is so cool it's making my nose bleed! Especially the theme song 'BEYOND THE BOUNDS' is amazing every time I listen to it! Do you guys have any favorite game music?

Monster Hunter: Hunting Horn Main

I haven't played the recent Monster Hunter games, but when I was hooked for a while, I tried various weapons and ended up maining the Hunting Horn~ That way, I could inspire my fellow hunters and play a support style where I focus on dodging, relying on them to do the damage (lol) What were your favorite weapons?

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory

I didn't play the previous game, but my family member who played this one recommended it, calling it 'the Reiwa era's god-tier game' and 'the greatest masterpiece of Digimon games,' so I started playing. (About 26 hours in) I've also watched some of the anime, so I bought the Digimon costume and anime song pack DLCs to keep me engaged. Conclusion: It's an amazing god-tier game. The story is fun and easy to get into. The plot is so Digimon-like, and even though I'm only around the mid-point, I've actually teared up a few times. Setting the boss battles to Digimon's most famous songs makes every encounter incredibly hype... Raising Digimon is also fun. The evolution and devolution cycle is too enjoyable. There are also many collection elements, so I think I'll have fun with post-game content and replays. There's a major prequel DLC coming next spring, so please give it a try.

My first game was on the 64

My first game ever was on the 64. I got into gaming thanks to my gamer grandpa (he was really into new tech, apparently he bought a colorful TV really early on), and started playing games. Those games were 64 games. On the 64, I played games like Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. There were also things like Pokémon battles back then, but I wasn't that interested in battle-type games, so I didn't play them much. I was young back then, so I could move efficiently and even cleared some games for my grandpa lol Now, looking back, they're such nostalgic and good memories~ (ノ)•ω•(ヾ)

It was Black and White, right?

The first Pokémon game I ever played was Black and White on the Game Boy. The other day, I was watching a YouTube video of someone playing a Pokémon remake-like game and was surprised, saying 'Wow, it's so colorful!' lol By the way, I played 'Green', but most people my generation weren't allowed to play games at home, so I didn't have anyone to play with. (My family gave me a game to keep me occupied while they were out lol)

Monster Hunter Wilds

There was a lot of controversy surrounding Wilds, but I'm still looking forward to the sequel, Ascendants.

Torneko's Great Adventure

I knew there was a remake, but I didn't realize there was a smartphone version too!! I've only played Shiren and Pokemon in the Mystery Dungeon series, but maybe I'll try it someday. I heard there's no item appraisal, which made me think it had a high barrier to entry. Have any of you played Torneko's Great Adventure?

Games where you use a thick strategy guide are the best

What strategy guides have you guys used? I used one for Pokémon (the 3DS version).
