A river somewhere in Hokkaido. I don't know which river it is, so I'm posting it here as a sort of offering (even AI couldn't identify this rural river lol) It's quite upstream, shallow riverbed, and highly transparent – is that a characteristic of Hokkaido's rivers? I posted this hoping you could feel the richness of Hokkaido's nature~

These are photos from a past trip to Noboribetsu Bear Park. The first one is of a bear that easily gets food from visitors. It makes you want to give food to the ones that appeal to you, after all. The second is of the brown bear's balance. As long as they have a footing that can withstand their weight, they possess the delicacy to stand on two legs and gather food even in unstable places like in the photo. The third is of a brown bear up close through the glass. Their breath has fogged up the lower left side of the glass. I hope you can feel even a little bit of that power and breath. And the fourth is of a duck during a duck race. I managed to capture a scene like the back-jump breath attack from Rathalos in Monster Hunter lol

This might be a bit of a personal story, but the image used for my icon and the header of the travelogue board I run was taken at a nearby river around sunset. And this was taken with an Android phone with no editing! (Isn't that amazing, if I do say so myself?!) I don't remember which one I used where, so I'll upload all the ones I have~ Apparently, this is the dirtiest river in the surrounding area... (lol) It's all about how you use things, right? (?)

This is the Otaru Canal in Hokkaido, a place I visited before. Many of the original canals and buildings remain, so you might be able to feel a bit of the old atmosphere (ﾉ)•ω•(ヾ) Lately, there's been less snow, and there wasn't any around here even in May... lol

I recently visited Kotohira-gu (Konpira-san) in Kotohira Town, Kagawa Prefecture! It's a shrine located on the middle slope of Mt. Zozu, famous for its yellow amulets (3rd pic). You need to climb "785 steps" from the Omotesando to reach the main shrine (1st pic). I tried counting each step, but I gave up halfway through (lol). It was cloudy on the day I visited, but you can get a panoramic view of the Sanuki Plain! (2nd pic) And along the stone steps, there's a shopping street (3rd pic). So you'll be climbing amidst many temptations (lol). Foodies, beware! (lol) (By the way, the "oiri" soft serve ice cream 🍦 was delicious!)

I went to Shikoku for the first time during the Silver Week holiday! I stopped by Yoshima PA and am posting photos of the Seto Ohashi Bridge! I also ate udon at this PA, and it was chewy and delicious~! (Photos? I only remembered after I ate, so nope...) I'll post more photos later~!
