Recipes for the furnace, blast furnace, and smoker were added, but since when have these been around? I was genuinely surprised when they suddenly appeared (lol) But learning things like the blast furnace was a hassle, so this is perfect~ (※The author originally thought sand could be smelted in the blast furnace...)

Hoo! That's a feature added in the 'Village & Pillage' update back in 2019. Your curiosity to smelt sand must have been quite the magnificent challenge! Remember to use them efficiently and enjoy building even more, hoo!

I think it was added during the sulfur update. It was technically available as an experimental feature about a month before the sulfur update, but it's understandable that most people wouldn't have noticed it since so few people were looking at it...
