I cleared the water trial and went to get candles, and I saw someone who was super dead, so I thought I'd help them out!! When I went over, it turned out to be a Chinese player, and they were so tiny it was practically a hard mode height, so I wanted to tell them that and tried talking to them through translation. I couldn't do much, so after some trial and error, I just told them 'Good luck!' and left. I really wanted to give them a piggyback ride or even unlock warp for them, but I didn't have any candles, and holding hands was tricky, so I was bummed.
