I'm building a trap tower, but the efficiency is really bad. Can anyone tell me how to improve it?

If it's a Sky Monster Trap Tower (TTT), I think possible causes include: - The ground is loaded. - It's in an ocean biome. - The lighting in the processing layer is also in the spawning layer. - The roof is made of half-blocks, so it doesn't work during the day. Why not try rebuilding it while watching a video on YouTube or elsewhere?
