Stop contradicting yourselves so ridiculously!? 🤣
I burst out laughing during the death penalty debate talk lol Just when I thought it was wrapping up nicely with a serious discussion, 'I came to Japan because I liked Death Note, but I was disappointed there's a death penalty system.' Death Note is a more extreme punishment than the death penalty though!? lol

Perhaps it's a character who believes that while state-sanctioned executions are barbaric, private vigilantism is cultural. By the way, France developed the guillotine, and it seems there was a performance at the opening ceremony of the previous Olympics that appeared to be inspired by a certain queen after her execution. How barbaric...

Taking a human life might be considered barbaric, but to say that the death penalty is barbaric because of it feels like a bit of a flawed argument, like something that mustached old man would say... it lacks a bit of consideration.

Ah, this talk. I only looked at the description, but yeah, the sudden contradiction is pretty funny.
