I need white blocks for building. I don't have enough diorite, and wool feels wrong. So, what should I do? Ah, let's use snow! So I utilized a specific mechanic in Minecraft. In Minecraft, weather changes based on the temperature of the biome, not whether it rains or snows in that biome. The higher you go, the colder it gets, so in biomes like plains where the grass blocks are a teal color, if you build blocks up to y=200, snow will fall on those blocks and accumulate. As a result, I got snow blocks and could make a snow golem. I actually used this mechanic for the first time, seriously.
