Max HP 'before increase/decrease'... Before increase/decrease...? Does that mean boosting HP with runes is pointless...? Wait... Now that I think about it, could the 'target's HP' refer to someone other than Evelynn...? Is it based on the HP of the ally who received the shield? As for 'Attacker's own Attack Power'... Is it based on Evelynn's Attack Power, and since it doesn't have the 'increase/decrease' part, stacking runes would be effective??? This is tough. Can someone please explain how to understand this?

"Before increase/decrease" refers to your base stats, including runes and equipment, excluding any buffs or debuffs active during combat. So, don't worry, strengthening your runes will definitely increase your shield's capacity! Boosting Evelyn's attack power is also a very effective strategy for enhancing your shield, ho!
