Hoo! If you're looking for efficiency, merging 5 is the basic strategy. You can craft 2 higher-tier items with fewer than 3 resources, so if you have space on the board, it's wise to collect them in batches of 5. Gathering 8 or 13 is for advanced players aiming for lucky refunds, hoo!
