Regarding the Addition of Unofficial, Copied, and Pirated Games
I figured this would be the better place to post, so please excuse me ┏○))ペコリ When I look at the newly added games, there are ones that are clearly copied or pirated artwork, right? These are famous titles like Pokemon, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Demon Slayer, and while it's a common occurrence, I've always wondered about the appropriateness of adding them so openly to Playo. So, I inquired about it the other day, as shown in the first image. Then, today, I received a reply, like in the second image. Upon checking, the icon in question was on the newly added page, but when I clicked it, the link was gone. I also mentioned that they shouldn't add games that even the official sources issue warnings about... I'm not a debugger, after all 😅 Still, I'm a little relieved to know that at least if I find a pirated game, they will respond if I inquire or report it 😌 So, everyone, let's report any pirated games we find ( ̄^ ̄ゞ

Thanks for sharing the inquiry and response! Ideally, the Playio management would notice these things before they're added, but it's good to know that contacting them leads to action, which lowers the barrier for reporting issues. I haven't encountered such a game on Playio yet, but I'll be sure to reach out if I do.

Nice inquiry! To continue using Playio with peace of mind, I wish Playio would block it before adding, but it seems difficult in various ways… Maybe the inquiry will make it possible to block it…? Thanks for the inquiry & sharing!

How amazing 👏👏 There were whispers about unofficial games here and there, but to actually take action! I'm grateful because it's hard for me to take that first step. Thanks for sharing the info 🙏

I've always wondered, is there like a screening process or anything?

Lately, the ads for Demon Slayer and Pokémon games have been popping up so much, it's been really annoying. I honestly wonder what Google is even doing.

Thank you for the report. I'm truly glad that Playio's operations are legitimate. On another social media site, ads are shown relentlessly. Even when reported as unofficial, new ad accounts are constantly created, making it difficult to keep up. Perhaps due to numerous user reports, I could comment on those ads before, but now, comments are disabled for all game app ads that seem suspicious. Also, when impersonators register games on download sites like Google Play, they apparently apply with the ad's name and a completely different image, then switch it to unauthorized use of official images around the time of release. There are many such cases, including Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Pokémon, and recently a collection of Shueisha characters made into chibi versions. Download sites for apps should really implement stricter regulations.
