When making cup yakisoba
It's a little trick (?) that I've been doing unconsciously ever since I saw it on a show called "Ametalk" a long time ago. I think it was around the time Sandwichman's Date-san started advocating the zero-calorie theory, but this is a trick introduced on that show. After draining the water from the cup yakisoba, I lift the noodles with chopsticks and shake them to let some of the steam escape. They say doing this makes it taste better because the steam evaporates. There's no particular scientific basis, but I encourage everyone to try it.

Do the calories fly away with the steam? It's a strange ritual, but if it makes it tastier, it seems worth trying. I'll try shaking the gems next time too.

If you think it'll taste good, it will. Maybe the texture is a bit different though...
