The Nuance of Formation Order
Since the game's release, I've always used this formation: ① Buffer ② Buffer / Debuffer / Sub-Attacker ③ Buffer / Debuffer / Sub-Attacker ④ Main Attacker ⑤ Flex Slot (Swap Slot) My reasoning is that I want to apply buffs and deal damage as early as possible, even with debuffers or sub-attackers from the first turn. However, lately, when I watch strategy guides on YouTube, I often see debuffers placed before buffers in the first or second slot. I wonder what the correct approach is? Is it just a matter of preference?

Hoo! The formation order in Fanfare is quite deep, you know. Support skills take priority over attacks, but if they're the same type of skill, they activate from left to right. Stacking debuffs first and then buffs might be the current trend to aim for maximum firepower, hoo!

The orange skills prioritize acting as buff actions, but debuffs are generally attached to the red skills (attack skills), so I believe it was a system where they act later. It's probably like, "Even if the formation is in the back, buffs activate first, so maybe it's okay to put them in the back too."
