Lychee
This photo was taken a little while ago, but I received some lychees from an acquaintance in Kyushu that they grew in their garden. I didn't know lychees could be grown in Japanese gardens! ð³ I've only ever eaten frozen lychees before, so I was so impressed. The freshness you only get from fruit picked ripe was absolutely delicious ð

Toraya, you mentioned delicious things before too! I'm surprised this fruit, which resembles my name, can be harvested in Japan! I want to taste its refreshing flavor too, Gau!

I also ate fresh lychee before, and it was incredibly delicious with way more juice than the frozen kindð€€

AuthorWhen I first tried it with anticipation (thawed from frozen), it wasn't very sweet and the aroma was just okay, so I didn't understand what was so good about it. But from the second time onwards, when I put it in my mouth without expectations, it had a subtle sweetness and freshness, making it very delicious and refreshing. It might have also been the pairing with the food at the time. Ever since then, I've loved lychees.
