A Common Story

You know how sometimes when there's a gap, it looks like someone's peeking in? This happened around the same time as the story about the black cooking apron (posted before). My mother is quite careless and often doesn't close doors properly. That day, the door was also open about 5 centimeters. From where I was sleeping, the angle made the open door overlap with the window, so I could see outside (it's the second floor, so only the faint light from the streetlamps). Or at least, I should have been able to see. But I saw a shadow in the gap... The streetlamp light from outside was faintly illuminating the top part of the door through the window. Yet, there was a pitch-black figure, about the size of a person. I thought, 'This is definitely someone peeking in!' And that's how I saw the shadow. The next day, I warned my mother to absolutely close the door. She's the type to bring things along but felt absolutely nothing and saw nothing.
