Pointless rambling For a while, I had this persistent, dull, and subtly uncomfortable stomach pain that finally made me go to the internal medicine clinic. I was like, 'It hurts~ the meds aren't working~ maybe we should do an endoscopy~' So I fasted, and on the day of the procedure, I went in, and... My stomach was surprisingly clean. That happened, and the doctor even praised me, saying 'Good job, that's great.' Well, I was pretty embarrassed, but my mental state was really bad back then, and I was taking various things, so I managed to convince myself that was the cause. Sometimes, when one thing becomes clear, it helps to sort out my thoughts a bit. But I also often end up pushing myself by using something as an excuse to do nothing. So even now, I sometimes think, 'I wish I had gone to the hospital sooner.' Patience might be important rationally, but taking care of myself is also crucial, right? So if my body is struggling, I should call an ambulance or rely on someone I can trust. If I feel like I'm bothering others, I'll remember the Indian teaching of 'forgiveness for others' (I'll talk about this another time). I want to live by this principle. I'm all for adopting good teachings from foreign cultures ✌︎ (The picture is of healing green)
