A Dream Story

Many occult and spiritual people often say that when people sleep, their souls tend to travel to other dimensions. I don't really know about that, but I sometimes have strange dreams. In my dream, I was in a supermarket and then walked out onto a visible path. Then, a dilapidated old hut caught my eye, but it wasn't just any old hut – it was a hut wrapped with a sacred straw rope… with red gohei (paper streamers). I was surprised, but as I walked away from the hut, I found another old, small shop (a general store!?) and decided to go in. It looked like a shop from the Showa 40s (1965-1974). Both inside and out, it had that Showa-era shop vibe. While looking around curiously, an old woman with glasses came out from inside. 'Ah, I guess I have to buy something…' As I looked around, I suddenly glanced up above where the old woman was sitting and saw something pasted on the wall. Intuitively, I knew it was the 'product prices,' but I couldn't read them at all. They were like many pieces of paper, resembling Taoist talismans, connected with circles and dashes. Even knowing they were prices, I couldn't decipher them. 'What is this!!' And then I woke up. It was a strange dream.
