I slept, but...

Thank you for your posts always. I enjoy reading your scary posts. This time it's my mother's experience. Although it's a hospital with complete nursing care now, back when my mother was hospitalized for an illness, accompanying visitors were allowed and overnight stays were possible, so I stayed overnight. It was a two-person room in the gynecology ward, but it was empty, and because there was a surgery scheduled, it was intentionally a two-person room with no one else. I couldn't fall asleep on the accompanying visitor's bed in that room and ended up dozing off while listening to the radio, then went home the next day. The next day, after the surgery, she was in that room. The day after that, my father went to the room where my mother was hospitalized. I was surprised when my father, upon returning home, said he was going to get an amulet at a large shrine ⛩️ in the neighboring town. He said he'd get it before it got dark and bring it to her, then left. I visited my mother at the hospital a few days later. My mother told me what happened. After the surgery, she found her usual bed uncomfortable, so she moved to the bed where I had stayed overnight. While sleeping there, she said that late at night, a woman standing beside her covered her nose. 'Help me!!' she screamed, but I guess she couldn't hear me~ my mother said, but I think her voice probably didn't come out. I slept in the accompanying visitor's bed too... but nothing happened to me.
