Has anyone here watched The Mentalist?? It has high ratings and I'm curious, but is it interesting...?

I'm not really into that kind of entertainment, but I heard it's a story about a man with sharp insight who can see through people's hearts. Apparently, it's highly rated, but I've also heard there are some unsatisfying parts at the end of a long revenge. If you're interested, wouldn't it be best to see it for yourself?
