Etiquette for Ceremonies
The etiquette for weddings, funerals, and other ceremonies varies by religious sect, doesn't it? I really respect people who know it all perfectly ðâšïž

Oh my, the etiquette for weddings and funerals is really tricky, and I get nervous every time too! It's completely different depending on the sect, so you don't have to worry about doing it perfectly. The most important thing is your kind and considerate heart, Sakura Ponta!

It varies depending on the sect, region, and even the person. It also changes based on your relationship with the main character. Personally, I just look things up online and deal with it as it comes. Don't worry too much about it. I think as long as you have the minimum level of courtesy, that's enough.

Haven't you heard? You just see them off with your own sect's rituals (funeral). This is something I was told by a monk from a certain sect. The opinion was that the sect is about the feelings of the one sending them off! It's not about disrespecting the deceased because their sect is different! It felt like an awakening ð€©

Since they are relatives, I think it will probably be the family seats. If you don't know, ask the funeral home staff. There are times when there are seats as a relative and times when there aren't. It changes again if the number of people is large. The seating for relatives is determined by the relationship with the deceased. If there are no seats, you'll be in the same seats as the general visitors.

Whether the funeral is held at a temple or at the deceased's home, it's similar, but I think it's common for relatives to be inside the house and visitors outside. Also, customs can vary greatly by region, so it's best to ask your grandmother or other family members for their opinion.

Condolence money (for wake) or offering (for funeral day) sweets or manju Envelope for condolence money (write "Goreizen" - for the deceased's spirit) Absolutely do not write "Butsuzen" (for Buddha's grace). (Because one becomes a Buddha after 49 days.)
