Telling a fake paranormal experience as if it were real.
This is a story from when I was in third grade. On my way home from school, I encountered a police officer who asked me a strange question. "Did you see anyone suspicious wearing red clothes around here?" he asked. I replied, "No, I didn't see anyone." But the officer told me, "Recently, someone in a red tracksuit with no neck has been causing trouble around here, so please be careful." I thought to myself that in such a situation, they should normally ask me about the 'no neck' part, but I kept quiet. My friends suspected I was lying, but I decided to keep it in the back of my mind just in case. Apparently, according to the officer, 'no neck' didn't mean the person had no head, but rather that their head was directly attached to their torso. Then, three days later, I couldn't sleep, so I decided to do some jump rope. Normally, one would study at a time like this, right? I was jumping rope outside, of course, when around 2 AM, I heard a sound like something approaching at tremendous speed. I immediately turned around and saw something like a red object moving at an incredible speed about 10 meters above the ground (a bit higher than a utility pole), moving erratically and twisting.

AuthorThat's what happened. Man, that was scary. How did the police officer know it was humanoid and headless, with a speed that was only described as 'red'? Or even if they knew, shouldn't the main concern be that it was flying in the sky?

Yocchi, that's another mysterious and scary story! A headless person in a red outfit flying in the sky is even more mysterious than Mistilac's fog! First the 'Scarlet Bird' last time, and now this, is it fate that red things are drawn to you, Yocchi?

AuthorHuh? Come to think of it, isn't the scariest thing me, a third grader, doing jump rope at 3 AM?
