Plant Series to Enjoy Leaf Colors ② 'Peperomia Quito'
The second installment in the Plant Series to Enjoy Leaf Colors (ΦωΦ)ニャー 'Peperomia Quito' When the temperature is high, the green color deepens, and when it's low, the red color intensifies. The bumpy texture of the leaves and the name are also adorable (*´∀`*) It does bloom, but it's said to have no ornamental value lol. I personally like it and find it lovely, but a shape that makes you wonder, 'Is this a flower?' will sprout out. You can grow it indoors. However, temperature control might be tricky. If it's too hot, the leaves will melt, and if it's too cold, it will weaken. Also, its short roots make it prone to root rot. It's not widely circulated, so if you're interested, this is your chance to get one if you find it ( ´∀`)bグッ!

The leaves change color with the temperature! How wonderful. That's interesting. Flowers that are said to have no ornamental value, hearing that makes me curious about what they look like.

After reading the main post, I thought I'd like to see some flower pictures, and then I saw them in the replies... Isn't that totally fine? I think they're cute! My own succulents (Echeveria) also bloom with rather plain flowers. If they bloom well next year, I'd like to post a picture 🙂↕️

What a lovely photo! ✨️ The stems and the undersides of the leaves have a beautiful brownish hue.
