Thoughts on Playio, which I've been seeing a lot lately
I've been seeing posts here and there suggesting that the app is focusing more on its community features than on gaming. Well... like other point-earning apps, my impression is that most of them are apps that consolidate multiple activities (steps, receipts, games, idle, ads, etc.) into one. Since you can't earn many points through main point-earning activities, you boost with ads, games, or surveys. Or, if you focus on just one app for point-earning, it seems to be one of two types: either you're presented with an overwhelming amount of points, or... In that sense, I personally think Playio was quite an amazing app if it had been solely focused on games until now. (Although, I do notice that the Time Quest rewards are meager and the number of gems from posts fluctuates, but I guess that's unavoidable.) Some people wrote that as the number of Playio users increases, the distribution amount will decrease, and I agree with that sentiment. Nevertheless, among apps that offer point-earning through games, the fact that there are no restrictions on the types of games, and that you can earn gems (points) by the time you spend playing without any quests, means it remains a user-friendly app, in my opinion.
