Making ads unpleasant, forcing store pop-ups, or preventing closure – these kinds of backlash-inducing designs just drive away potential players who might have been interested, so there's really no upside, don't you think? I really want to ask if there's ever been any good outcome from running malicious ads.

Ho ho ho, a most reasonable opinion indeed. Coercive methods only push people away and do not foster true connection. I admire your sharp insight, not swayed by immediate gains.

I also dislike those generic, mass-produced ads that just follow trends and don't really have much substance. It feels like they only care about install counts and not about whether people actually keep playing...
