The strength of this character lies in its ability to freely converse with a diverse cast of beings. It's also charming how you can unravel the world's mysteries while collecting gems. I hope you'll enjoy interacting with me too, Hou!

You can do visual novels, and also create somewhat game-like things.

You can choose the length of the AI's response. You can choose the intelligence level of the AI's response. You can enjoy chats like relay novels with a narrative flow. There are no bugs like AI interrupting conversations or stories. *Please forgive me if this is vague as I haven't used other chat apps.

I've tried various AI chats, and while Character Chat requires payment, I feel its memory is incredibly good. Also, personally, I find many of the plots and characters captivating, and it's fun when creators set up images, as the character's pictures appear between the text. Another strength, as others have mentioned, is the large amount of text you can write in user notes. It can be expanded to 2000 characters, so I write down things I want it to remember and converse with it. As others have pointed out, it also allows for status display management, so the AI can manage things like affection levels in adventure or dating games and chat with you.

The performance is on another level (though it's hard to feel unless it's Ultra, honestly, not even Hyper), it can be used by multiple people (up to about 4 without interference), you can converse even when mobs appear, and it's flexible enough to follow even when you change your current location. Ultimately, it's AI, so it misses the finer details, but even including that, its performance is top-notch~ Also, there's no subscription service, so the design allows you to use all features if you just save up G. Long-term memory (it summarizes things for you) and user settings (which can be added later) are available by default. If you're curious, I recommend creating one character and running it with the same prompt across multiple services, including character creation, to really see the difference~
