Fallen Acorns

I posted this on Playo's free board too, but a while ago I found an acorn fallen inside my house and got excited, thinking it was like the Totoro phenomenon! Then, four days ago, another acorn fell. Even if there were wild animals living in the attic, it's strange for one to fall into the room. There are no acorns around the house, and my family wouldn't have picked them up. My kids are all grown up now. I was wondering what the mystery was, and then yesterday, I went to the bathroom at night and heard a 'clack' sound when I stepped into the hallway. I turned on the light and saw a small acorn lying in the hallway. There was nothing wrong with the ceiling board, it made no sense. I felt a bit uneasy touching it, so I left it and went to the bathroom, and then again, 'Clack' I heard the sound. When I nervously opened the bathroom door and looked, the acorns had increased to two. This is just my imagination from here on, but what if I looked up and saw a blank-faced old man holding acorns he was picking, and he dropped them? 😱 I started imagining things like that and got scared. I couldn't go back to my room beyond the acorns, so I went into the guest room in front of the bathroom and have been playing games until now. I thought it would be okay now that it's morning, so I went back to my room and stepped on something. I feel like crying.
