You are all too kind, it's so peaceful. Thank you.
My mother is a breeder, so I help out with raising dogs and cats, but lately, they're not selling well. They're selling so poorly that my mom is juggling being a breeder and a groomer, and it's a struggle every day. Sometimes people will make an appointment and then just disappear, and we get prank inquiries from people wanting to see puppies about 5 times a year. For us, it's like, 'Oh, here we go again.' Just buying 2 or 3 bags of dog and cat food easily costs over 4000 yen, so when sales are slow, we sometimes skip our own meals for the day to buy food. Even when we do make a sale, say a puppy for 160,000 yen sells, my mom is behind on rent. The landlord has repeatedly yelled at her, threatening forced eviction if she doesn't pay 300,000 yen every month. Even after she pays, he apparently says it's 'only 100,000 yen,' which made me so frustrated seeing how hard she works. The landlord isn't doing the maintenance he's supposed to. He rents out the entire 60-year-old building for 220,000 yen a month, and even though we pay rent during busy months like May, he says the building is old and looks like it could collapse, so he'll eventually force us out. This seems to be his unilateral decision, and my mom is really scared of him...

Forced eviction. That must be a difficult situation to be in. You're a breeder, work as a groomer, and your mother loves animals very much. I'm not very knowledgeable about this, so it would be best to research accurate information or ask someone who knows, but I believe there's something called relocation assistance or eviction compensation. Years ago, I was asked to move out due to the building's deterioration, and I was given money to cover moving expenses. I hope you can at least receive some form of relocation assistance. Sorry for chiming in when I don't know much. But I hope my experience can be of some help.
