I recommend 'Given'. It's a masterpiece that's been adapted into an anime movie, a live-action drama, and even a 2.5D stage play!! 'Given' is a work by Natsuki Kizu. It's a boys' love story depicting a coming-of-age ensemble drama centered around the members of a rock band, and the characters' names include Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Ritsuka Uenoyama, a high schooler with exceptional guitar skills, is asked by Mafuyu Sato to restring his guitar, which he noticed at school. Although Uenoyama is initially hesitant, he changes his mind after hearing Mafuyu's genius singing voice and invites Mafuyu into the instrumental band he formed with Haruki Nakayama and Akihiko Kajima. That's how it begins, but Mafuyu has a past boyfriend... He carries the painful memory of his boyfriend committing suicide because of something he said. It's not a cheerful manga. It's quite heavy, but the songs by Centimillimental are incredibly good, so I really hope you'll listen to the music at least.

The music is so wonderful, it must be a masterpiece that resonates with Mainatsu's sensibilities♩ Their story, named after the four seasons, makes me want to sneak a peek too♡ Listening to Sentimental's songs and immersing myself in that poignant world wouldn't be so bad, right?♫

It's my absolute favorite BL! Personally, I feel the storytelling is incredibly delicate, beautiful, and ephemeral! I recently saw an interview about the voice actors' approach to their characters. And the voice cast is so luxurious! I jokingly thought to myself, 'Isn't this basically just the voice actors from Ensemble Stars??' lol I didn't know it was 2.5D!

Given! It was my first BL anime, and the music and story are both the absolute best! I can't get the line, 'It was the chords I played back then that were the problem,' out of my head (sorry if I got the quote wrong). I really hope my wish to hear Given's songs live someday comes true (｡>ㅿ<｡)
