Should have written it all yesterday (?)

I wrote about the ads yesterday too, partly as a rant, but wouldn't the side introducing ad revenue also face disadvantages like 'users stop watching ads due to malicious ads -> ad revenue decreases'? So, can't they just avoid using ad companies with bad reputations? Or is it that there are no places without malicious ads...?
