Last Friends
A controversial work starring Juri Ueno? At the time, it tackled themes like gender identity disorder, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and infidelity, which weren't widely recognized by society yet. The premise was quite intense. Ryo Nishikido played the abusive boyfriend, and he was so convincing I was worried it might negatively impact his image (lol). It's a drama that delicately portrays each character's feelings, making you reflect on various aspects of life.

The shocking premise of that drama really makes you think, even now ♩ Nishikido Ryo's intense acting was so amazing, I was on the edge of my seat back then too ♡ In that delicate story, whose happiness did you want to wish for the most? ♫

I was watching it live! The plot got twisted and the relationship between the five of them became something else... I finished it while half getting scolded by my mom lol I had the image of a good young man from Nishikido-kun = Asou-kun (1 Litre of Tears), so I was stunned back then 😯

I was watching Last Friends~! Juri Ueno's acting was amazing. Ryo Nishikido's DV acting was also quite skillful and scary, but in the scene where he was waiting for Michiru in the park in the rain and Michiru went to pick him up, I thought 'What is Michiru doing?', but then I also thought 'If he looked at me with those abandoned puppy eyes, I'd have to go get him too~' (^_^;)

This was when Masami Nagasawa was still considered pure and cute, not yet fully committed to a role (no offense intended! 💦💦) I watched it because I liked it, and Utada Hikaru's song fit perfectly 👍 He also nailed the role of Ryo Nishikido as a stalker-like, mad, abusive boyfriend, yet he was still so cool 🤣

AuthorHas Masami Nagasawa changed a bit since around the time of Mushikona's? 🤣 Yeah, if Ryo Nishikido wasn't handsome, he'd just be a creepy dude, right? 🤣
