Might be a common story

I can finally take a breather, so I'll share a light story. A while back, I went to visit a friend who had moved to the Nagoya area. It was the dead of winter, December. As it was getting dim, I decided it was time to head back and walked to the nearest bus stop from my friend's house. There was a supermarket in front of the bus stop. After finishing my shopping at the supermarket and leaving, the bus bound for the station arrived. 'Yes! I made it!' I thought, and rushed towards the bus. It was dim when I left my friend's house, but the winter sun sets quickly, and it was pitch black. It was past 7:30 PM. The bus was empty, and naturally, no one else was going to the station at this hour, so it was just me. I headed for the first empty seat I saw and sat down... and then I felt a chill. 'Whoa!' Another way to put it is, 'I got goosebumps.' In that instant, I felt someone behind me. But the bus was empty... I was sure of it. Yet, I felt a presence behind me. I was too scared to even look up. The thought of seeing someone other than myself reflected in the window terrified me, and I just couldn't. I stayed like that until I reached the station and got off. When I turned around and looked inside the bus, there was no one in the seat I had occupied. I thought, 'Wow, things like this really happen~' It's an experience I had.
