Apartment Complex Ghost Stories
We had another paranormal incident... I took a nap until it got dark and suddenly woke up. I heard rustling sounds from another room, and the microwave turning on (Ah, maybe someone's heating up lunch). Then it hit me (Wait, I felt really sick today and don't have any lunch here?) I checked around the microwave and no one was there. I asked, "Did someone use the microwave?" "No, I didn't do anything at all." This keeps happening only to me... The building is too old, and only about half the units are occupied now, so there's definitely something here:(ÂŽâŠÏâŠïœ): *shivers*

If it's an old building, the creaking of pipes or structure might be the cause of the noise. For a malfunctioning microwave, aging electrical systems could be a possibility. It's probably best not to overthink it and prioritize rest.

AuthorI get it, the house has defects and the appliances are old, I acknowledge that 100%. I was definitely tired too, but combined with that previous incident with the stone at the entrance, it just makes no sense lol

Did you hear noises from other houses, or anything like that? At night, sounds can echo strangely (How about we just say that?)

Those kinds of unclear things can be surprisingly scary, right? Is it just the neighbor's noise happening to be audible? A burglar? A supernatural phenomenon? Or just your imagination? Are you just overly sensitive? I hate how those anxieties pile up. Once or twice might be okay, but when it happens repeatedly, not being able to relax at home becomes a subtle but significant hardship. A 'boring but peaceful space where you don't have to worry about anything' becomes the ultimate luxury.

I always wonder if the concept of paranormal phenomena also evolves as they adapt to electronic devices and current tools.

I think it's proof of existence? Not an assertion. It's scary to think about, but usually those kinds of beings are okay with electrical stuff, and a common analogy is that turning lights on and off is patterned, so a microwave sound should be fine too.
