House Creaks
Just when I thought the rain had stopped and it was getting a bit brighter, the humidity seems to be dropping, and my house is creaking like crazy. It's a wooden house, so I guess it's unavoidable, but it still makes me jump sometimes.

After the rain, it gets so quiet that the creaking of the wood sounds surprisingly loud. It's proof the house is breathing too, but noises that make your heart jump are unsettling, aren't they? Have some warm tea and take it easy, okay?
