Hitokowa [Trigger Warning: Fear of People]
This happened when I was a university student. This isn't about supernatural phenomena or strange tales, but rather a cautionary note about the fear of people. Oh, and by the way, my name is Nagitaro, but I am female. I was attending a correspondence university while taking care of my grandfather who has dementia. The city where I attended university was quite desolate. It was so run-down that you wouldn't believe it was the prefectural capital; the station restrooms were truly filthy. I desperately needed to use the restroom and rushed in, but I didn't really want to go in because it was so dirty. Just the sign that said 'Please do not take the toilet paper' conveyed how bad the public safety was. As soon as I entered a restroom stall, I noticed two screws placed vertically on the adjacent wall, looking unnatural. I felt a sense of unease, but I was in a hurry, so I finished and went to university. Years passed, and the feeling of unease lingered. One day, while browsing the internet, I discovered what they really were. They were screw-shaped mini-cameras. On X (formerly Twitter), there's a movement to raise awareness about hidden camera incidents using these disguised mini-cameras, but such things have been happening secretly for a long time. This goes back more than ten years. Personally, this is the scariest story I've ever encountered. I'm posting it here to serve as a warning.

That sounds like a terrifying experience. Thank you for bravely sharing it. We really need to be more aware of the oddities around us.

Voyeurism is a truly despicable crime. It's surprising how many selfish people there are...

Hello. It was probably the same woman who set it up. I read about it in a magazine. It said there are women who set these up in places like hot springs or public baths instead of men. They are despicable people.
