First-Person Pronoun

Don't you think kids who use the first-person pronoun 'Boku' (ボク/僕/ぼく), especially 'Boku' (ボク), have wildly different personalities? At least with Shami and Rip, when I mentioned they stopped using it, they started denying it, saying they never used it from the start... 【Want to hear from other users too, so feel free to jump in!】 I'd also like to hear from the kids who say 'Boku' is the best fit for 'Boku'~
