Detective Pretty Cure!

4 Stars I haven't really watched most of the Pretty Cure series before, but I heard this one is set in 1999 and it made me feel nostalgic. Since it's right in the middle of my youth, the references are so nostalgic! Things like the 'Terror of the Great King', or prophecies that seem to be about the Year 2000 problem. The 平成 (Heisei) era gals walking around town, phones that didn't 'paka-paka' (flip open) but had tons of straps, extending the antenna when making a call, etc. If you're from that generation, you should definitely check it out!
