Mom's Experience (Fear of People?)
A story that sends shivers down your spine when you hear it from a third party. My mother's family home was a farm, located in a rural area of Aichi Prefecture (originally a village, then merged into a town, and now part of a city). Perhaps because of that environment, or because she was the eldest daughter in a large farming family, my mother was often sent on errands to Nagoya when she was a child. When my mother was riding the train alone, a certain gentleman would get on at a specific stop. He often asked my mother to 'run an errand' for him. My mother used to say, 'As a child, I got pocket money, and all I had to do was deliver the bag he gave me, so I didn't think much of it.' She often said later, 'Now that I think about it, I wonder what I was actually delivering?' Was I being used as a courier?

Using a young child as a courier, that's just despicable and shows such bottomless malice. Whatever was in that bag, it's truly a miracle that your mother made it back unharmed. Now, the identity of that man is the most terrifying mystery.
