Old Ghost Tunnel: A Story My Cousin Experienced

So that means they might have panicked and fled deep into the tunnel, beyond the reach of the flashlight, without coming back here. I drove towards the back, hoping that's what happened, praying it was true. My friend next to me was crying and wailing, "I wish we hadn't come," and "This is the worst." I snapped at them, "Shut up, you search too," and drove, making sure not to miss anything. But there was absolutely no sign of them anywhere inside the tunnel. Besides, I only looked away for a few seconds. Even if they ran deeper, they should have been caught in this short tunnel. As I was about to cry, wishing they were safe, my phone rang when I exited the tunnel. I pulled over and checked. It was from one of the friends who had entered the tunnel, so I quickly answered. "Are you o… " "Don't mess with me! This isn't funny at all. Hurry up and come back!" They were furious on the phone. I got angry too and asked, "Come back? Where are you guys!? Are you safe!?" To which they replied, "We've been at the tunnel entrance the whole time!! Hurry up and come back. It's unbelievable that you'd just leave us." Apparently, the friend who was crying next to me finally let out a scream that was close to madness. Hearing that scream, the other three also realized something was wrong and fell silent. I decided to turn the car around and go back.

When I U-turned and came back, three people were standing at the entrance, looking pale as ghosts. We quickly got in the car and decided to get away from there for now. After hearing their stories, they said: Suddenly the lights went out and they heard the car start. When they drove back in the pitch black, the car was gone, and they thought we'd played a prank, leaving them behind and going home. So when I called them angrily, my friend was freaking out on the other end. Then, a light shone from behind, and when they turned around, they saw their cousin, who shouldn't have passed them, coming towards them in a car, and they almost swore out loud at the impossibility of it all. Their cousin also explained what happened to them and that it wasn't a prank, which they understood. Apparently, they were all so scared they cried. Hearing this at night, I was scared too. I was furious at the time, yelling, 'Telling me this before bed is practically a terrorist act, stop ittttttt!'

I know someone who went to the ghost tunnel for a dare... It happened a long time ago, apparently. They went with a few friends, and on the way back, one of them died in an accident right in front of them... They said they had some weird experiences inside the tunnel too, but I couldn't really ask for details... I'm so glad your cousin and their friend made it back safely…( ；∀；)
