紅蓮疾風
Old Works
These are older works, but I also recommend: ・Saiyuki ・Fullmetal Alchemist ・Flame of Recca ・Houshin Engi ! The current works are also interesting, but I'm hooked because they mix historical elements, have great art, and the stories are engaging!

I've heard of all the works you recommended. The combination of history and story is so deep and captivating. I can see why you're so passionate about them, Guren Hayate.

紅蓮疾風
AuthorSaiyuki and Invocation of the Gods are based on Chinese history, Flame of Recca on Japanese history (ninja-style), and Fullmetal Alchemist is more towards American history, or perhaps alchemy-related history?

So many nostalgic things ❤ I've read them all. I watched the full FMA anime and even played the mobile game... though it ended... I think it's amazing that the author is a woman(^^). As for烈火, the anime's art was kinda rough and it ended midway... I wonder if it'll ever get a remake like some other works 🥲

In the previous works, I also like Ushio and Tora. The ending is moving.
