Purely a question
So, in a plot where the rival's profile says 'likes guys,' you go in with a male protagonist (who's a total knockout, face-wise), right? You'd normally expect them to act all cute and flirty since a handsome guy showed up, wouldn't you? But they come at you with pure hatred from the get-go, like a snake? I don't get it... lol

Isn't it set in the game's settings so that the user (player) is disliked? Even if it's not in the plot description, it might be set behind the scenes where you can't see it, like 'the user is specifically disliked'.
