I tried making Potato Salad Chikuwa Tempura

Using a YouTube video recipe, I first tried making chikuwa tempura with cheese... My fellow fan told me that in Kumamoto, they put potato salad in it. So, I used store-bought potato salad to make chikuwa tempura. I sprinkled a pinch of salt and lemon 🍋 juice on it, and it tasted refreshing and delicious. I found out that when putting in the potato salad… the chunky potato pieces are difficult to incorporate 😂 For the coating, I fried it using only potato starch. I later learned that chikuwa tempura with potato salad is a soul food of Kumamoto.
