The Story of Stopping My Husband from Going to Work

This morning when I woke up, my husband was getting ready with a lot of energy. I thought, "Maybe he has plans to go out today, even though it's a holiday?" As I watched him, I realized... he was clearly getting ready to go to work! I told him, "I think today's your day off." And since my sleepy brain wasn't fully functioning, I told him to check his work schedule. "Huh?!... You're right... I thought it was a workday," he said. It might have been funny to just let him go to work like that. This is the story of my husband, who made a huge mistake this morning and unintentionally ended up with an early start to his day.
