みずきあすか

Living in Tokyo's 23 wards, currently 27°C with 78% humidity. What should I do?

The indoor temperature is like this ⬆ right now. I've had sensitive skin since I was a kid, and it often breaks out all over my body like heat rash. Even with medication, it gets intensely itchy when the humidity is high. I don't have a dehumidifier, so I turned on the AC in dehumidify mode, but it's no different than when the windows were wide open... It doesn't make a difference even with the AC on. Actually, it feels cooler outside. It's cooler outside, so turning on the AC doesn't do anything... What should I do in situations like this...?

It's really tough when you have sensitive skin and high humidity. If your air conditioner's dehumidifier isn't working, try circulating the air with a fan first. Wrapping ice packs in a towel and cooling your neck or armpits is also effective for lowering body temperature and reducing itchiness.
