Treasure Chest Odds
I calculated which treasure chest is the most profitable. This time, I excluded EXP potions and considered everything else as a win to calculate the odds. Elf - 200 Hearts: Miss 86.3%, Hit 13.7%, Expected Value 0.68 Wind - 500 Hearts: Miss 73%, Hit 27%, Expected Value 0.54 Ancient Royal - 1000 Hearts: Miss 56.15%, Hit 43.85%, Expected Value 0.43 At first glance, Elf seems best, but that's only if you don't consider the contents. Let's calculate the efficiency by converting the contents into gems. (Boosters are complicated, so I'll exclude them from the calculation) Elf Gem Efficiency: 209 (104.5 per 100 gems) Wind Gem Efficiency: 490 (98 per 100 gems) Ancient Royal Gem Efficiency: 1530 (153 per 100 gems) Looking at this, Ancient Royal seems best, but when you multiply the efficiency by the expected value: Elf: 71.6 Wind: 52.92 Ancient Royal: 65.79 Therefore, if you want to aim for stability by increasing your chances with more attempts, Elf is the way to go. If you want a big payout when you do hit and are aiming for a jackpot, Ancient Royal is better. Wind is so weak it's nonsensical, so you're better off skipping it. Thank you for reading to the end.
