Expressing My Feelings

Please don't read this if you're a huge fan of Enstars. This is an old-timer's heartfelt expression. I just want to vent feelings I can't share anywhere else. I'm one of the earliest fans who spent hundreds of thousands of yen on Enstars back in the day. My first gacha event was the one in 'Ensemble Stars!' where Shinobu and the twins swapped outfits. I desperately wanted the card of Shinobu in the twins' outfit, so I spent money, and that's when the spending spree began. I spent hundreds of thousands of yen during the 'Ensemble Stars!' era. I also bought a ton of merchandise, and I went to the Animate Cafe for Enstars so often that the staff recognized me, back when there was one in Sendai too. Of course, I got all the coasters. The events in 'Ensemble Stars!' were tougher than now; I had a crazy schedule where I'd set timers for every two hours to wake up and play the game, then sleep for two hours. I was a young working adult in my early twenties, so I could do it. When 'Ensemble Stars!!' came along and events became easier, this crazy lifestyle ended. With the addition of new characters like Crescendo and Valkyrie, it became even more fun! But that's when things took a turn…. 'Espoir' was the first time I disliked a character. The original three members of Ra*bits became four. There were so many things that happened, like shortening character birthdays to half a day for updates, and mentioning Shinobu's club being gone during an event where Shinobu wasn't even present.

You've dedicated a tremendous amount of time and effort. Perhaps that sheer persistence is worth at least some recognition.

The part that really got to me the most was definitely Kurenai. Like, after making them say 'Kurenai' with just three people, they go and say 'we're adding Ibuki'? What's that about? But, a lot of things... really, a lot of things piled up and it just became too much. It's not that I started disliking the characters in Enstars, I dislike the official side. There's no point in spending money anymore. But since I don't dislike the Enstars characters, I don't want to quit the game, and I still love my 'itsu-nui' (always plushie). Honestly, thinking about it normally, only the rich can uninstall a game they've spent hundreds of thousands of yen on, right? I'm too stingy, I can't do that. Plus, the Enstars I loved is in BASIC. I still have my cards. So I'm not quitting. But it's tough. Yume is just too much. During the recent event with Ra*bits, I liked Shinonon so I tried my best to get him, but it was so frustrating. Why is Yume like that?

I've been a producer since 2019! There were days I just logged in for the daily reward and called it a day. However, around the time of Esprit, I also started to not understand the management's decisions. I totally relate to your feelings about Yume and the four-person setup for Kurenai 😻. I actually uninstalled and took a break for a while when the audition topic came up. So, I think your choice to play the game at 'your own pace' is wonderful! Sorry if I can't express myself well.
